OUR STORY
PRIME BEEF GROWN LOCALLY
Full Moon Wagyu started as a dream, with a passion and a hand full of frozen embryos in 2012. The herd grew very slowly and methodically. We eventually purchased two live Wagyu mommas from a Wagyu breeder in Wyoming. Since then, the herd has grown to its current size, and the animals graze happily in picturesque pastures in Panton, VT.
OUR PRACTICES - NATURAL, LOCAL, QUALITY
Our entire herd is DNA tested and certified by the American Wagyu Association.
Genetic breeding choices are made based on proven scientific data for optimal marbling.
Our herd grazes on lush pasture land in the summer months and is supplemented with hay, Total Mixed Feed Ration, and grain when pasture is unavailable.
No added hormones or steroids.
No unnecessary antibiotic usage or medical interventions.
The target age for harvesting our wagyu is 30 to 36 months.
Every animal is cared for with love from day one until the point of harvest.
